Had a long chat to your folks (well, actually Sam who hijacked the call) on Skype last night and your Mom told me how keen you are on photography. I’ve had a look at Flickr and I think your shots are great and the captures of the kids and their expressions are superb.

I don’t know if you lurk websites but http://www.fredmiranda.com has been highly rewarding for me – I’ve learned more in the last 2 months about bird photography than I ever could have on my own.

I’m using this as a bit of an e-mail since I don’t have your address so delete it if it takes too much space!

It’s also about time all you guys came to visit us so that Jay and Lucy can also have the fun of dodging buffalo pats on the Kruger Park roads!
