I’ve been very bad about posting lately, so here’s a quick catch-up post.

Lucy turned 1 while we were on vacation in Breckenridge.  We had a little party involving wine and chocolate chip cookies in the condo, and much fun was had by all.  Lucy had her 1-year check-up this week and she is now 32″ long and 21 lbs, 12 oz.  That means she is 70th percentile for weight and way off the chart for height!  She is basically walking now too.  Last week, she strung together about 10 steps a couple of times.  If she’s distracted, she’ll stand for minutes at a time, until she realizes, with a thump, that she feels precarious.

Jay took ski school in Breckenridge and did very well, thank you very much.  He got his “pizza wedge” (snow plow as described to 4-year-olds) established, and can sort of turn and stop.  He was on the “Magic Carpet” lift at a place called Kinderhut, which was perfect for him.  According to his instructors, “he likes to go fast!”

Jay turns 4 next Monday, so we’re having a party for him at Pump It Up in Oakland.  Think jumping castles … lots of them.  And maybe a pinata.  He will be in heaven.

That’s it for now.  I do have a few pictures to post.  Will try to get those up in the next few days.

P.S. We bought a mini van.  I know.
