Vital Statistics

Lucy had her four-month doctor’s appointment on June 20 (almost exactly at 18 weeks old).  She is now 26 inches tall, which puts her in the 95th percentile for height and she weighs 14 lbs, 11 ozs, which makes her 60th percentile for weight.  All in all she’s following her brother’s growth curve in terms of height, but she’s less skinny.  At some point (don’t remember exactly when) Jay dropped off the charts on weight as he turned into a wiry perpetual motion machine!  I think he went from the 20th percentile to the 5th at some point.  It’s gotta be the Draemel genes.  Remains to be seen whether Lucy will follow a similar path; so far she certainly seems content to sit and observe the world and just communicate with people.

    Love the ice cream pic. I like how you use “negotiate” as another word for “bribe”. HA! Whatever works though…right? ;)
