Jay is Officially Three

As of yesterday, Jay is truly a three-year old. Happy birthday to him again! He deserves another day of recognition given how much has happened this month! Here’s a picture from last week where he flashed a rare posed smile for me.
Those are goldfish crackers in case you’re wondering. He is adapting well to being a big brother. He is very into helping take care of his baby sister, and woe unto anyone who tries to get past his Purell bottle before touching Lucy. He also really likes to hold his baby sister, with a little help from gramma in the picture below.
During my week off, Jay and I had a blast together! One day, we went to the U.C. Berkeley Botanical Gardens. The gardens are spectacular and have amazing views everywhere. I took a lot of pictures, and I’ll post a few to SOAPhoto in an album … link available under the photo albums section of this site. But here’s one of Jay enjoying the warm sun on a bench in the Asia section of the garden.

Great pics there. Jenn and I also had our engagement photos taken there. What a great spot. And on campus to boot.
Happy birthday, Jay! Looks like you are becoming quite the little man! A real chip off your old man’s block, if I do say so myself.
