More Kid Updates

Nothing new to report on the baby status yet. We are celebrating Jay’s birthday early (this Superbowl Sunday) at a jumping castle facility known as “Pump it Up.” Nothing appeals to Jay’s social set like a good jumping castle or giant inflatable slide!
And better yet, I’m taking Jay to a DoodleBops (that’s right, DoodleBops!) concert this Friday. I’ll see if I can take a camera to get a picture of his reactions. For those of you who are not in the know, the DoodleBops are odd clown-like musical performers and dancers who have a TV show and tour the world, delighting toddlers. They started as a small show carried by the Canadian Broadcasting Company, and got picked up by Disney, thereby ensuring higher production values and a worldwide audience. They’re kind of freaky looking, but the kids love ‘em. And I get to see them IN PERSON. I’m so excited.
