As virtually all potential readers of this blog probably already know, Sharon and I are expecting a second baby in February. With Jay, we had an ultrasound at 20 weeks, and learned that he was a boy. However, with this baby, the doctor wanted us to wait because she felt she might only be able to justify one additional ultrasound for purposes of insurance. So we waited. And then, even when we finally did the ultrasound at 25 weeks, this baby was being coy, and did not choose to reveal any determination of gender to the ultrasound technician. Fortunately, the technician didn’t take a couple of key images that the doctor wanted, so we got one more crack it. And today … we learned the baby is … a girl!
